ASL Group Acquires B&M, Implements its Growth Strategy

The purchase of B&M Office Machines Ltd will expand ASL’s provision of MPS, offering a more concentrated and improved level of service to the customers.

ASL Group, one of the largest managed office services suppliers based in Cambridge, recently got hold of B&M Office Machines Ltd. as part of its growth strategy to become the largest, independent Managed Print Services (MPS) provider in the UK. The purchase of B&M Office Machines Ltd will expand ASL’s provision of MPS, offering a more concentrated and improved level of service to the customers. Customers will be benefitted from a wider portfolio of managed-office services, comprising unified communications and production print.

A Positive Start to 2020 by ASL Group

While speaking on this occasion, Mark Garius, Managing Director of ASL, reflected, “We have started 2020 on a positive note. This step uplifts our run rate to £43m, which we are immensely proud of.” Garius further added, “B&M have a great reputation and they are a fantastic business. We are very looking ahead to teaming up with them. It is our aim to provide independent advice for all business office needs.”

As ASL take efforts to become the largest independent MPS supplier in the UK, this deal allows the company to make the most of B&M’s experience, integrate it with its own, thereby strengthening the service offering for customers.

Shared Culture and Values between both the Firms

The Managing Director of B&M Office Machines Ltd, John Baccino, stated, “Both the companies have passion, values, and culture in common. We will ensure that our customers get excellent service and are happy for them to enjoy the additional benefits that ASL can provide.”

This deal is ASL’s fourth acquisition in 14 months, at the back of Smart Print Technology, Reprotec, and Geerings Digital Ltd.
